My Backround
My name is Jessie Johnson and I am a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Some areas of special interest to me are treating clients dealing with injury prevention and rehabilitation, stress/anxiety/depression, chronic pain as well as helping people achieve restorative relaxation.
Outside of the treatment room, some of the things I enjoy are surfing, riding my bike, painting and admiring the beauty of the west coast.
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment for the soft tissues in the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments. These tissues can become stiff for a variety of reasons, and cause pain as well as movement impairments.
Massage therapy is an effective way to help address muscle pain and improve mobility by acting on the muscular, neurological, circulatory and lymphatic systems in the body. Massage therapy can also have a relaxing effect and help with stress management.
